Heroes... for CHRIST!

Camp INCREDIBLE has come to an end and what an experience it has been for everyone involved! Our Heroes-in-Training went through an exciting yet physically and mentally challenging series of adventures that saw them trek into The Island (i.e. Sentosa) and build Dragons. More importantly, they learnt from one another how they could help each other become Heroes through the Heroic Virtues of Prudence, Justice, Fortitude and Temperance.

Ultimately, though, it was the time spent with The Oracle (i.e. Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament) that truly meant the most to our Heroes. We hope it was a life-changing experience for each and every one of you.

This blog will continue to give updates about the Sequels (i.e. the follow-ups) and will hold photos and videos from Camp. Stay tuned.

Before I end off, our heartiest congratulations go to Annabelle Tee for being selected for the Heroes-in-Training Excellence Award! To her goes the enviable task of giving a personal testimony about her Camp Experience at the Youth Mass next Saturday. :)

Things to bring for CAMP

Greetings cadets!

Our Heroes-in-Training programme, aka Camp INCREDIBLE is less than a week away! We hope you have already signed up for these amazing four days in December and we look forward to seeing you there! But no promising superhero comes empty-handed, for it is the duty of everyone to be prepared for anything. All are to ensure that they bring these items for Camp INCREDIBLE:
  1. Rosary - for many Heroes, a source of strength and comfort
  2. Bible - every Hero's instruction manual
  3. Personal Cutlery (i.e. fork, spoon, mug) - Heroes must do their part to save the environment and not use disposable cutlery.
  4. Personal Toiletries (e.g. soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, etc.) and Towel - unless your superpower is to look good perpetually.
  5. 5 sets of Clothes (inclusive of mass attire) - even superheroes don't stay in costume all the time.
  6. EZ link card with at least $3 stored value - especially if you can't fly.
  7. Writing materials - even if it's just a pen.
  8. Sleeping bag (IMPORTANT) - This is a MUST.
  9. Sun Block (IMPORTANT) - Superman gets his powers from the Sun. You are NOT Superman.
  10. Water Bottle (IMPORTANT) - Water is Life.
  11. Sandals or shoes (IMPORTANT) - for outdoor stuff.

NOTE For FEMALE Superheroes: The fate of the world lies in your hands. It is important that what you wear does NOT distract your fellow trainees and even the organisers (especially the male ones) from your role as superheroes. Please make sure you also bring along a dark top. Bikinis are allowed, but only if you keep it beneath the dark top. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.
